I must admit that the first time I heard “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weeknd I wasn’t really feeling it but after hearing it a few more times it grew on me and it instantly became a hit to listeners around the world. The dark R&B favorite of mine recently released the visual for this single and it is FIRE…literally.
Abel is seen performing in a club where at first it seems that the only person interested in the performance is supermodel, Chanel Iman, who appears to be swooning over him right from the beginning but The Weeknd quickly wins the crowd over when he’s set on fire and showcases his MJ dance moves.
It’s clear to see that Michael Jackson has been a heavy influence on The Weeknd’s most recent projects and I’m sure we’ll hear more of that when his album Beauty Behind The Madness drops next month.
