I don’t know how Mike Jay has managed to fly under my radar but now after listening to his latest single “Safe With You” I can’t get enough of him.
The Detroit singer/songwriter opens all the way up on this track and lets his vulnerability take over.
“Baby don’t let go, hold me in your arms and don’t let go tonight // Everything I want is deep inside your heart so give it all tonight // I’m so safe with you…I feel so safe with you…”
It’s no surprise he’s written music for the likes of Chris Brown and Ciara before but I can’t wait to hear more of his soul when he bares it on his upcoming EP which is set to release sometime this summer!
