I first took notice of Oakland singer/songwriter, Kehlani, when she collabed with G-Eazy on the remix of “Get Away.” I instantly fell in love with everything about her. Not only does she have a beautiful voice but the girl is so fly!
This babygirl dropped her mixtape, You Should Be Here, about a week ago and now that I’ve finally listened to it in its entirety I must admit I kind of have a girl crush on her! Although no one can replace the Princess of R&B, Aaliyah, Kehlani reminds me so much of her. A soulful voice that penetrates you with such emotion.
This 14 track mixtape is an absolute must listen. I’m legit feelin’ every single song but “Niggas,” “Unconditional,” and “Runnin'” are my favorites.
