I have yet to meet a soul that doesn’t appreciate the talent and beauty of the late Queen of Tejano music, Selena Quintanilla and with that being said, Puerto Rican blonde bombshell, Kathia Lynne, payed tribute to the Latin Queen on her debut single “Bidi Bidi” and it’s beyond amazing.
There is so much to say about this Lara Project produced track. From the musical arrangements to the rainstorm in the background to Kathia’s soulful voice, there is nothing but beautiful, heart-felt vibes jumping out of my headphones right now.
The Lara brothers (Felix & Manuel Lara) took this song to a whole other universe and Kathia brought us along for the ride. I swear she could have just sang “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom”and I would still think this song is wavy AF just because of her voice & the production.
