The debut album for one of Puerto Rico’s sickest rappers has finally come to see the light of day and my Friday just got a whole hell of a lot better.
Luz En La Oscuridad is a 15 track compilation of Joyce Santana’s most popular singles previously released on Sound Cloud plus 4 new ones and a new version of his emotional hit “3:00 AM.”
“Competencia” was the first single released off the album and that one was for the ladies but let me tell you Santana went IN on his newest tracks “Young Pablo,” “La C,” and “5’6.”
With dark, trappy beats, producer Young Martino created the perfect eerie vibes for Joyce’s ill wordplay to shine bright on.

Lock up Joyce Santana and Young Martino in the studio for awhile and the result is some real grimey shit. What I would give to be a fly on the wall to see how those creative juices flow in the lab.
