As promised, on Friday, April 29, Drake a.k.a. the 6 God finally blessed us with his highly anticipated album Views.
The long awaited project includes his hit singles “Hotline Bling” and “One Dance” along with 18 other tracks with features from PartyNextDoor, Rihanna,Pimp C, Future and newly signed OVO group DVSN.
With this extensive body of work and his consistency being so on point, Drizzy made it almost impossible for me to pick my standout tracks. I’ve listened to the entire album at least 20 times already and every time I find a new bar in a song that makes me say “Damn Drake, back at it again with the clever wordplay!”

My obvious go to dance tracks would be “One Dance”ft. Wizkid & Kyla and “Too Good” ft. Rihanna. Those dancehall vibes got me feeling all types of tings!

Hands down my favorite track off Views is “Redemption.” From the second I started playing it it had me all in my emotions but I appreciate Drake for that. He knows how to tap into your feelings in the most relatable of ways.

I’m not gonna lie, with all the hype around the release of this album I was expecting a little more. Don’t get me wrong, Drake definitely did his thing like he always does but I think the project definitely caters more to the women in the sense that most dudes want something a little more hard-hitting, a little more “What A Time To Be Alive” ish. But for the guys that appreciate the softer side of Drake, I f#ck with you! Drizzy always does it for me, his way with words always gets me and for that I will continue to burn the shit out of Views!
