Last night, Nike hosted an event to celebrate the launch of their 1 Reimagined Collection and it was nothing short of magical.
As soon as you walked into the venue you were greeted with an archway filled with flowers displaying all 10 of the shoes and once inside there were 5 models in ball gowns with different NBA team logos wearing a pair of the fresh new kicks. The gowns were designed by Esmaa Mohamoud and Qendrim Hoti and they were honestly the perfect fit to pair up with the sneakers.
Now you know Nike couldn’t have an event without having some special guest performances and I was extra hype when not only Kelela was performing but fellow R&B songstress Kehlani as well.
Forgive my picture quality but I don’t have a professional camera and it only occurred to me halfway through the event that hey maybe I should cover this for a blog post! lol I promise future event reviews will be better!
