As if I didn’t already love the 6 God enough, Drake recently released the visual for his chart topping hit “God’s Plan” and now I’m full on in love with this generous man and I’m going to need for God to place him in my plan ASAP! (lol joking..but not really though, God do your thing!)
Most music videos have the common theme of showing off a flashy lifestyle but Drake opted for doing the exact opposite and make the video about giving back and I’m not talking about giving back a little bit – he gave away $996,631.90 in this video and he really pulled at my heart strings with this one!
The site NPR.org described Drake as Miami’s Guardian Angel in this visual and I couldn’t have said it better myself. Throughout the video Drizzy is seen paying for peoples groceries at the local supermarket, giving away stacks of cash, closing down a mall for women of the Lotus House Shelter to go on a shopping spree as well as gifting the children of the same shelter with toys among other acts of kindness.
Drake mentioned that this video was “The most important thing I have ever done in my career” and I’m really just in awe of what he did.
More artists…actually more people* in general like Aubrey please!!
