If there’s one brand that knows how to do collabs it’s HUF. From Soroyama to Budweiser, among countless other brand link ups, HUF has a knack for knowing who to partner up with and provide unique pieces for their consumers!
The latest brand to join their roster of collabs for this new year is none other than American sportswear label, Starter.
We are undoubtedly feelin’ the 90s vibes with this capsule thanks to HUF incorporating its own spin to Starter’s throwback silhouettes such as their staple Satin Jacket, a co-branded tracksuit, a Breakaway Anorak Jacket as well as hoodies, baseball jerseys and long/short sleeve tees.
Shot in LA, the look book for this collection is heavily inspired by street culture and hip-hop and it fittingly features Young Dirty Bastard who yes, you guessed it, is the son of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, founding member of Wu-Tang Clan! This is a check mate move if you ask me because it’s the perfect portrayal of how our “throwback” generation has influenced today’s generation. The 90s were such an iconic time in our history in regards to fashion, music, sports etc. that it’s no wonder today’s youth go back to it to find their inspiration and apply it with a new school twist to it.
Released yest, you can find the HUF x Starter collab online, at HUF’s flagship stores as well as at finer retailers worldwide. I don’t know about you but the Satin Jacket, Tracksuit, and Breakaway Anorak Jacket are all MUST COPS for me!
