After having spent a few months in Puerto Rico, Lara Project is back in their native Venezuela and we’re finally getting a chance to hear some of what they worked on while in the island.
It’s no surprise these brothers decided to work with one of the dopest Puerto Rican rappers in the game right now, Joyce Santana. Released last week, “Quiero Decirte” is their latest single and I must say these artists compliment each other well!
“Que bueno que tienes lo que tienes, los BM, viajes los wikenes, días en hoteles, la envidia de esas mujeres y el pensamiento que por fin tienes to’ lo que quieres, yo se con ese actitud quien eres tu, siempre pertenecistes a Hollywood, que bien te va, con tu mundo artificial, con tu jevo oficial que es el tipo ideal, y si lo quieres pa bien yo no les deseo mal, seguro que era yo que estaba fuera lugar pensando en que me podías amar aunque nunca fuera la misma intensidad, interrogante una infinidad no se sabrán por cuestión de sinceridad y cosas con los que no me quiero quedar como esto que voy a confesar…”
“Quiero decirte que no dejo de pensar en que hubiera pasado si por dejarme ir te hubieras equivocado y esperar te hubieras equivocado..”
The combination of Santana’s all too real lyrics and Lara Project’s infectious chorus and production is just too good. I can’t wait to hear what else these boys cooked up in the studio.
