There is no denying Kanye West is a creative master mind, add that to the creativity of Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing and you have a Campaign video based on Ye’s The Life of Pablo track “Wolves.”
Nothing short of dramatic, this black and white 7 minute video is essentially a runway showing the upcoming FW’16 Collection of the Parisian Fashion House. Models such as Joan Smalls (Boricua represent!) Jourdan Dunn, Alessandra Ambrosio and Francisco Lachowski are featured along with Vic Mensa, Sia, Kim Kardashian West and Kanye himself.
Infusing clips from the Balmain after party, the visual gets more intense showing Kim and Kanye along with a few other models with tears rolling down their eyes.
This by far is one of the DOPEST fashion videos I’ve ever seen. The dramatization of it all went hand in hand with the song. This Campaign is the epitome of when fashion meets music it’s pure art.
Bravo Kanye and Olivier!
P.S. Did anyone notice any similarities between this video and the one for Monster?!
