Tyler the Creator’s fourth studio album, Flower Boy, is finally here and after giving it a good listen I’m in awe at how incredibly raw and vulnerable he got with it on this project.
Whether you’re a fan or not of Tyler, you at some point within the last few weeks have caught wind about the lyrical content on this album, mainly because he has lines such as “Next line will have ’em like whoa I been kissing white boys since 2004” which leaves room for speculation about his sexuality but honestly who gives a f##k?! That song, which is titled “I Aint Got Time” has one of the toughest beats I’ve heard in awhile and whether he’s gay or just trying to get people buzzing, I’m all the way here for the music!
Some other stand out joints for me off this 14 track offering are ‘Where This Flower Blooms,” “See You Again,” and “Who Dat Boy.”

With features coming from Frank Ocean,A$AP Rocky, among others, this is by far my favorite body of work from Tyler. He shows us a soft, personal and relatable side of him but doesn’t forget to give us the witty, dark sense of humor side that his fans know & love.
