Bad Bunny featuring Drake singing in spanish without missing a beat. That’s it. That’s all you need to know to know that Bad Bunny Baby Ba Ba’s latest single “MIA” is a hit.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard Drake sing in spanish but the fact that Bad Bunny told him “solo español” and Drizzy came through speaks volumes on the phenomenon that is Bad Bunny- it’s also just more of a reason for us latinos to adopt Drake because he’s proven he’s full on committed to the culture!
With Puerto Rican flags, dembow and a game of dominó being played, the visual for “MIA” directed by Fernando Lugo is a latin house party at its peak.
My only negative critique on this one is that it should have released in the summer but for those of us living in cities fast approaching the cold months ahead, we can close our eyes and imagine ourselves back on the island sippin’ on a cold one while feelin’ that warm Caribbean breeze while we have ourselves a good time.
Watch the video for “MIA” below and let me know if you think El Conejo Malo is reppin’ for his island of Puerto Rico heavy or doin’ the most.
